Similar to other BHRT options, SottoPelle utilizes pellet insertion. First, a SottoPelle provider applies a numbing agent. Next, the provider makes a small incision, usually on the upper buttocks. Finally, the provider inserts a pellet about the size of a grain of rice just below the skin. The pellet contains a specific amount of hormones. As such, this BHRT option creates a steady flow of natural hormones into the bloodstream similar to when the body’s natural hormones functioned well. Also of note: the SottoPelle method uses their proprietary dosing site called BioCalc (patent pending) to deliver the right amount of hormones for each patient’s needs.

Also, they claim that BHRT pellet insertion can offer improvement in TBI symptoms for up to six months.

In addition to BHRT, SottoPelle has other products including skincare items, a UV-C sanitizer, and a line of supplements. However, only the supplements appear to be manufactured by SottoPelle directly (although not all of them).
