BOCA RATON, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–BodyLogicMD, the most highly-trained network of practitioners specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and integrative medicine, is offering a $5,000 scholarship per semester to one deserving medical student with aspirations of a career that is centered on optimal health and healing in the field of integrative medicine.

“It is vital for the future of healthcare to have open-minded and curious physicians who are dedicated to integrative medicine so that we can discover the root cause of diseases and not just continue to give pills to help alleviate the symptoms.”Tweet this

The biannual scholarship, which will be awarded for the fall and spring semester, will help offset the exorbitant tuition cost associated with pursuing medical education and training at an accredited university. To apply, the candidate will be required to submit a 350-word essay, and the scholarship will be awarded to the candidate who best exemplifies the qualities needed to be an outstanding medical professional and help people overcome their medical issues. After applying, all applications will be reviewed by a non-biased third party, where a deserving recipient will be chosen. An additional summer semester scholarship will be granted in 2020 for candidates that submit their application by the April 6th, 2020 deadline.

A survey conducted with over 1,000 integrative MDs and DOs, and reported by the consultancy Pure Branding, found that integrative medical practitioners reported greater personal satisfaction and quality of life than that of their conventional medicine counterparts. The survey also found that integrative practitioners are able to spend twice the amount of time with patients treating their whole being and focusing on optimal health and healing than conventional doctors. With that trend expecting to move forward with momentum, younger medical professionals are more likely to transition into integrative medical practices at a quicker rate.

When asked about the future of integrative medicine, Dr. Jennifer Landa, Chief Medical Officer of BodyLogicMD, said, “It is vital for the future of healthcare to have open-minded and curious physicians who are dedicated to integrative medicine so that we can discover the root cause of diseases and not just continue to give pills to help alleviate the symptoms.”

With a network of medical practitioners focused on helping those struggling with issues related to hormone imbalance, BodyLogicMD fully understands the impact, need and importance of identifying and treating underlying conditions while utilizing integrative and preventive solutions and treatments, which is why they are fully dedicated to supporting the next generation of medical practitioners with the scholastic scholarship.

All applications for the 2020 summer semester scholarship must be submitted and received by April 6th, 2020. All applications for the 2020 fall semester scholarship must be submitted and received by August 3rd, 2020. For more information on BodyLogicMD, please visit www.bodylogicmd.com.
